Rachel Lévesque is Adviser on International Relations for Food Security (FAO) and Biodiversity (CBD) at the Ministry of International Relations and Francophonie of Quebec and specialized in in food security and nutrition, and in the right to food.
She also coordinate Québec’s international positioning within the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and represents Québec and the Committee of Federated States for Biodiversity in international negotiations. Her work focuses on food and agriculture issues, the protection of our nature, and the development of concrete solutions to break down silos between agriculture-environment-health-economy, and on raising awareness and mobilizing the national and international community.
