Ms. Amy Ickowitz
Amy Ickowitz is a Senior Scientist at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). Her current research focuses on the links between diets, markets, and the natural environment particularly on the implications of landscape change for nutrition. She is currently engaged in a USAID-funded project that is looking at wild food use across Zambia and a Packard-funded project on the contributions of mangroves to diets in Java, Indonesia. Amy is a development and natural resource economist by training holding a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Riverside.
