Dr. Siddharth Sareen (University of Bergen, Norway): Environmental governance and energy infrastructure transitions

Dr. Siddharth Sareen is an Associate Professor in Energy and Environment at the Department of Media and Social Sciences at the University of Stavanger, and an Associate Professor II at the Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation at the University of Bergen. He works on the governance of energy transitions and has published articles in dozens of journals. Sareen has a background in human geography, political ecology and development studies. He has held academic positions in seven countries, and edited many collections, including ‘Enabling sustainable energy transitions’ (https://www.palgrave.com/gp/book/9783030268909). He leads projects funded by JPI Climate and the Research Council of Norway.
